A lecture was recorded on the critique of space given by Matthew McGarvey at CalArts.  Each word the McGarvey says is typed and synced to the sound of the lecture.  Anytime the professor says a word appearing in his lecture notes, a copy of that word from his lecture notes appears in addition to what is typed.  Anytime the professor says a word that appears in my notes, a copy of that word from my lecture notes appears in addition to what is typed. The background of each film consists of the following: textures of the papers used/notes themselvesThe installation focuses on the transfer of information and the organization of information.  How an individual organizes his/her information and how they understand it best in order to use that information as a trigger for the information stored to communicate a larger body of information and how that information is transferred to another individual and how that individual transfers those ideas verbally communicated into an organized system that demonstrates their understanding of the information transferred.
